I was feeling great until I went to Kohl's today and tried on some jeans. It was scary. I had even tried on one of those tummy sinchers (I always seem them on IG) and it was a fight to get it on in the fitting room. Leah was in there with me and looking at me like I was crazy. Yes sweet girl, mommy is. I'm trying ya'll!
I ended up walking out of there with a new top and told myself I would wait on the new jeans until the end of January. I have goals and jeans will be my first reward once I get there.
I plan to post more about where I am starting and where I want to be soon, so keep an eye out for that. I lost 60 pounds after Leah, 45 after Hannah, and I am hoping to lose 25-30 pounds this time.
We were driving home today when Leah started yelling for me to look out the window. " Mommy look! The angels are shining down on us". It was a beautiful view out the window and I quickly snatched a picture of it. Peace. It's what I needed to see after this long week home with the kiddos and all the Christmas shenanigans. This mommy is pooped!
After speaking with Adam and thinking about it for a while, I've decided to become an UBER driver. Adam is also planning to drive as well. We are hoping to earn some extra cash this way since it's been difficult for me to dog sit as much as I want and need to. I have my clients I have built up over the last year or so but since moving into our new home and being home with Zoe -- its been difficult to take on much more with dog sitting. So -- here's to UBER! I'll be sure to share more about my experience with that. I just finished my paperwork and I'm waiting on final approvals.
